Check out the new pictures posted to our photo gallery from a recent community service project at Vital Bridges – South.

Vital Bridges provides high quality basic services through five program sites located on the North, West and South sides of Chicago as well as in the suburbs of Elk Grove Village and Oak Park. We begin by providing the most basic needs – nutritious food and safe housing. We then work to stabilize our clients’ lives and guide them on a path to improve their health. Our clients receive assistance toward greater independence through case management, counseling, prevention services and education.

Valentine’s Day Fundraiser – 2/13/2010

Please join the brothers of the Delta Chapter, Kappa Psi Kappa Fraternity Inc. on February 13th, 2009 to mix, mingle and help raise money for the Jabari Rhodes – LeRoy Whitfield Scholarship Fund.

The fundraiser/mixer is from 4 pm to 9 pm at Jeffrey’s Pub (7041 S. Jeffery Blvd, Chicago, IL) and there is a $10 cover at the door, free h’or d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Donate to Those Affected in Haiti

On January 12, a series of earthquakes measuring 6.5 to 7.3 on the Richter scale devastated Haiti. The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, and other partners to assist those affected by this disaster.

Your gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include sending relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers and providing financial resources and recovery.
